Many Moons Short Film + Janelle Monáe comes to Nokia Theater

Well, cyboys and cybergirls, the very first official short film from Janelle Monae is finally here. For two years, I've rambled on and on to my friends about this girl. Sorry guys, I know I probably wrecked your nerves at times, but now hopefully you'll see why my eyes lit up with such excitement every time her music was mentioned or played. I'm so proud of this young lady for staying focused and loving art so much for giving us a gift like this.

Before I share some photos, I'd first like to say God is so good. No, better yet, God is so GREAT. Late last night, I was up thinking about how fortunate I was to be in the presence of such talented, hard working individuals of the Wondaland Arts Society last Thursday. I could never thank George 2.0 & Jovian, a.k.a The Chasemasters, enough for allowing me to come behind the scenes and do my thing. Much love and appreciation to the both of them.

Now check out some photos!

Come see BlackfootNotes!

My best friend, Miss Gia McGlone, is an extraordinary actress, and it makes me so proud to tell you about an upcoming show she'll be featured in. I saw the first run about a year ago, but I'm told it's even better this time around. So excited!!! Can't wait to see "BlackfootNotes" this Friday and I encourage others to come out and show support.

Any1Man

A few months ago, I introduced you to a talented young guy who puts on an incredible one man show in NY. I briefly wrote about my experience and posted photos of his 6 amazing different characters. After stumbling across my "In the Kitchen" photo, George wanted me to create something similar using the characters of "Any1Man." In early September, we immediately got together and made it happen.

On the morning of the shoot, I walk in on George getting into character. As he's reciting lines, it's like I'm back in the theater watching him on stage for the very first time. Can you guess who he is?

Jovi (photo assistant) & George christen the spot - now we're ready to work!

In two ways, say hello to Adam, Willie, Wesley, Victor, Bishop and Man-Tan.

George, I had SO much fun shooting you and look forward to working with you again.
